Helensville Bowling Club.

. * The annual meeting of Helensyille Bowling Club took place in the Library on Monday evening. Mr Jas. McLeod (President) was in the chair, and there was a ?ood muster of members. The Balance sheet showed a credit of £4 6s 5d on the past year's working, and it was adopted. The following officials were elected for the ensuing year : — Patron, Mr J. G. Coates, M.P.; President, Mr Jas. McLeod ; Vice-Presidents, Messrs J. A. Wilson and E. H. Cucksey ; Green Superintendent, Mr G. Me Ewin ; Secretary and Treasurer, Mr J. C. Rimmer ; Committee, Messrs Jas. Hand, W. Ellett, G. Willis, J. Simcock. H. Coulter and M. Hafford ; Delegate to Provincial Association, Mr G. A. Jackson. A number of invitations to attend the opening ceremony at other greens were received. The Committee will make final arrangements next Monday evening for the opening day, 27th inst, at the Domain. Invitations are being issued to members of other clubs to be present, and the day being a holiday, an enjoyable function is anticipated. The Helensville Musical Society have a notice of interest to members and anyone desiring to join, in this issue.
