THE TOWN BAND.
vYe are informed that those who make donations towards procuring instruments for the Town Band have ample protection against providing- individual players with instruments to take away in the event of their leaving the town, for the Band's property is vested in the Town Board. We published a
few lines on this aspect of the question a week ago because some of. the intending subscribers mentioned the matter to us and desired information on this point. But it is now quite clear that the interests of subscribers are in every way safeguarded, and would-be donators can now support the fund with entire satisfaction.
