A team of Auckland cricketers,visited Helensville on Friday last, and played a local team, winning by 38 runs on the first innings, The home team batted first and made 38, Gasson contributing 16. Mc Arthur took four wickets, McKeowii two, and Blair one, while A. Brown got three for none. The visitors replied with 76, (I. Mills 17 not out, Haase 15). Jas. Hand bowled well for the homo team securing 6s wickets with a good average. The local team got 54 in the second attempt, Duraud making 21.
