Helensville A. and P. Association.
A meeting of the Executive Committee was held iv the Secretary's office on Saturday evening laat. The President, Mr C. H. Spinley, occupied the chair, and there was a fair attendance of members. Accounts amounting to £50 were passed for payment; A number of new members were proposed. A. vote of thanks was accorded to the drainage committee, Messrs J. A. Wilson, A. J. Bradly and Jas. McLeod for supervising construction of atop t bank. It was decided to employ Mr J. Morris snr. to 16ok after stop bank and keep it in repair. With regard to improvement to Show grounds, a committee, consisting of tho President, Secretary, and Messrs J. A. Wilson and Jas. McLeod were appointed, to visit other show grounds and submit apian for improvements to a general meeting. The .Secretary was instructed to write letters of thanks to Messrs Dur«* and and Trengrove, for use of timberfor seats round the ring, and to Mr C. White for services on day of Show. A number of suggestions for improving the working of the show were received. The Secretary was instructed to pay out prize money from Monday, Feb* ruary 10th
