KAIPARA S.S. COMPANY

The Kaipara Steamship Company has been purchased by Mr Geo. Niccol as a going concern, Some months ago the shareholders decided that, in view of the unsatisfactory conditions prevailing, the company should wind up its business. Mr. H. R. J. Short, of the firm of L. D. Nathan, Ltd., was appointed liquidator, and for some time past he has been making arrangements with a view to disposing of the concern. Arrangements were completed on Monday, December 2, the affairs of the company being taken over by Mr. Niccol on that date. It is understood that the price paid for the business was £10,000.
