Notice was posted at Hnntly miiie* on Friday last to the effect that any employee of the company shall bo subject to instant dismissal who shall, upon or within the precincts or any part of the property of t the company, use towards auyone theVord "scab " or other insulting epithet, or language likely to cause intimidation. A further notice is posted intimating that boura of work, wages, and other conditions of work for all workers noi members of the Arbitration Union shaJl be'and remain as fixed in an award of the court previously in existence, provided that from and after-December Mtli it shall not be obligatory to give four* teen days' notice before discharging any worker not a member of th-3 said union, but that such workers shall be subject to discharge without notice upon payment of wages to time of discharge.
