BOWLING CLUB.

A meeting'of the committee of the above was held on Saturday evening last, when there was a full attendance. The Secretary reported that the Railway Department had consented to run a special train on the opening day leaving Helensville at 6.30 p.m. It was decided that owing to the colours of the Club, blue and white, belonging to another Club which has the prior right, the Club substitute black and white. The comorittee to collect subscriptions for entertaining the visitors, reported that over £12 had been received It was stated the arrangements for vehicles to convey the visitors to the Springs would be forthcoming in sufficient numbers. A number had promised to assist. It was reported that a luncheon had been arranged to be prepared for the visitors at the Kaipara and. Helensville Hotels at 11' o'clock, after which they would proceed direct to the Springs where the opening ceremony takes place at 12,30 p.m.
