A meeting of the Executive Committee of the above was. held in the Secretary's office last Saturday. Mr C. H. Spinley, was in the chair and there was a good attendance' of members, ■A letter from the Dept of Agriculture was rend offering to make analysis of seeds exhibited at the show. Letter received.
Eesolved that a list of life merul>ers be printed in the Schedule.
It was decided that the height of |/ hurdles be 3ft 6in for all events. p*-. Mr H. Bradly was elected a memi^ jet of the general committee, >v The Secretary announced that the Singer Sewing Machine Company had offered a prize of a £15 Sewing Machine for £7 10s.
It was decided to accept the offer with thanks, and allot the Machine as first prize in the iat beast weight guessing competition. Amongst tne prizes already received "was one from Messrs Davidson Bros of ±,2 2s, for the. best 3 horse farm team; J. C. Reynard, first prize £\ le for the cleverest jumper: Messrs R. Nicholls and A. Bradly, £1 10s lor Ist and 2ndprizefor 2 year old pedigree Holstein Heifer; Mr R. Farrell, £1, for first prize brood mare 12 hands and under. The donations were all accepted with thanks.
