We submitted and sold large catalogues of hides, skins, and tallow on Tuesday, competition being brisk for all lines offering. Hides : Market firm, with good inquiiy from tanners and shippers. A draft of crossdred ewes for dreed-, ing purposes Avars purchased this season for the Moumahaki Ezperimental Farm. A number of these were culled and are now being fattened ; the balance have been mated with Southdown and Dorset Horn wins. The rams of these breeds will later be puperseded by P>order Leicesters.
