PARAKAI AND HELENSVILLE.

The match between the above teams played on the Show Ground on Satui» day last, was undoubtedly one of the finest exhibitions of football witnessed in this district for a number of years. Both teams played a hard game, and good play was shown in both the forward and back divisions. From the commencement to the off side call, the game was full of vim, neither side be~ ing able to break through the solid defences, Mr. Stevens, a member of tho Auckland Referees Association had control of the whistle, and he proved a master of the game, both teams taking his decision without question.
