KAIPARA RUGBY UNION.
A meeting of the delegates of different Football Clubs was held last evening to form a Union. Present: Messrs Tui McEwin (in the chair), Cucksey A. Garry, L. McLeod, Waru, W. Poihi G. Nicholls, and J. Hafford (sec, pro tern). It was unanimously decided that a Union be formed to be called " The Kaipara Rugby Union," to consist of the Helensville, Parakai, and Otakinini Clubs.
It was resolved ".That any person giving a donation of 10s or more to any respective club, provided that 5s be handed to the Union, be given a a complimentary ticket for the season. The Union decided to provide caps to be presented to the winning team. The" following office. bearers were elected for the year:—Patron: Mr J. G. Co'ates, M.P.; President: Mr Jas. McLeod; Vice-Presidents : Messr3 D. Donovan, W. Uimmer, Isaac McLeod ; Secretary and Treasurer: Mr A.. Garry ; Auditor: Mr W. H. Stringer; Managing Committee : Messrs Tui McEwin, Cucksey, L. MdLeod, Waru, Garry, Poihi, and G. Nicholls. The registration fee to the Union was fixed at 10s 6d,
It was decided that the Union matches commence on June Ist.
Boundaries: — Helensville Club : Town Board District; Parakai Club : from Takapau Creek to Ohiranga: Otakanini Club: from Takapau Creek to South Head.
It was resolved that Mr J. Constable (as secretary to late Union j be asked to attend the next meeting of the Un~ ion and produce minutes of last meeting of former Union. A vote of thanks to the Chair terminated the meeting. :
