TOWN BOARD.
A special Meeting of the Town Board was held at the Town Board Office ou Monday Evening last. Present Mr James Stewart. (Chairmany JMcLeod, Becroft, and Wilson. This meeting was called for the pur~ pose of confirmiug the purchase by arbitration of land, from Mr John Hand, required in connection with the Water and Drainage Scheme. It was proposed by Mr Stewart, seconded by Mr Wilson, That the Boards Seal be affixed to the document.
A deputation consisting of' Messrs Tui McEwin, E. H. Cucksey and D. Fosbroke waited on the Board •with reference to a football field at the Hot Springs bomain. The Foot* ball Club undertook to do certain improvements and |it was decided to grant them the field free of charge.
