L3 5s io L7 7s 6d. Veal came forward in large numbers, and sold at late rates. Heavy vealers sold at from L3 to L3 18s, medium weights L2 to L2 16s, others 2Js to tf3s ; smaUerand fresh dropped, 4s to 12s Gd. Sheep came forward in average numbers, and showed no improvement on last week's raten, although quotations are higher. Best wethers sold at from 18s 9d to 22s 3d, others, 14s 9d to 17s 6d; heavy ewes, 14s 6d to 16s 6d; ewes. 10s to 13s 3d. The lamb pens were well tilled, and sold at late rates. Best quality, 12s6dto 13s 9d, others 8s 6d to 12s. Most of the lambs were bought for freezing. Pigs were penned in good numbers.)
