"SAFE AND EFFICENT."

" Taking all the circumstances into consideration," says the New Zealand Tunes, "• it seems apparent that Mr Mackenzie has done quite well. His aim apparently has been to surround himself with hardworking, level-head-ed men. The majority of these men have enjoyed the confidence of the elec tors over a long series of years. On all such occasi -ns as this there is r0.0.m for great difference of opinion in regard, tp \]\s wisdp,ui in individual selection. Those who, n.nd place in the sun will be immediately camparcd with t):ose wh.Q s^ill yeni£\ift in ihe shade. Alm,og,teyeryo74O will have an opinion difvnrent to his neighbour about certain exclusions and preferences, but it has after all t > be remom> bered that the formation of a Ministry is one of the most difficult tasks auy public man can undertake, , , . . The Ministry is £i\fe { eificent combinatiofl, there nottjie slightest reason, why anyone shoiilcl lose a night's sleep between uow aiid June, on account of apprehension iu regard to its conduct oi the public business."
