TENNIS SOCIAL.
On Friday evening last a very enjoyable social was held in the Foresters' Hal], There , was not such a good attendance as was anticipated, owing probably to the short notice, only about 80 persons being present. However, dancing was kept going with enthusiasm, by lovers of that pastime, to music supplied by Misses Rimmer and Donovun, while others Xalayed cards, etc., until 12 o'clock. The new tennis club, for which benefit the social was held, benefits to the extent of £4 being placed to its credit.
