HELENSVILLE LAWN TENNIS CLUB.

•A meeting of the Committee of the above Club was held on Friday last The Club accepted Mr Daniel Stew • art's generous offer of the ground. The terms were £30 for about -J an acre, enough for four courts, with a frontage to two roads, out of which Mr Stewart is giving £10 as a donation towards the Club. It was unanimously resolved to make Mr D, Stewart a life member. Messrs J. A. Wilson, A. J. Hill, and J. L. Stewart were appointed trustees. The committee are to arrange an overdraft at the Bank for £50, and to commeuce fencing and laying down courts at once, It was decided that members fees be collected straightway.
