Calves were penned in largo numbers, and sold at lower lates, heavy vealers selling to L 2 15s, medium Ll 15s to L 2, lighter sorts 15s to 30s, mail*and fresh dropped 3s to 10s. Sheep were yarded in large numbers and sold at lower rates. Best wethers sold at from 16s 6d to 19s, others 13s to 15s 3d; best ewes 13s to los Gd, others 9s to 11s 6d. Lambs in usual numbers sold at advanced rates. First quality sold to 13s 9d. others 7s 6d to 10s 9d. Pigs were yarded in good numbers. and sold at late rates. MARKET REFOKT. Oats : Local stocks are now in small compass and the market is steady at 3s 3d to us 4d per bushel. Wheat: The market is'baio the de~l niand being in excess of supply, and as a result prices have liruied from 4s 6d to 4s 7d per bushel. Chaff is in good demand.
