OBITUARY.

MKS OLIVE.

On Tuesday, December 19th, at the Private Hospital, Dargavillo, Mrs May Olive, the wife of Mr S. Olive of Dargaville, passed away after a short illness. Mrs Olive, who was only 24 years of age, and the only surviving daughter of Mr and Mrs J. F. Lam~ hert, old und respected residents of Hel9nsville, who have resided here for 22 yoars, was two years of age when her parents came to Helonsvlle, and was brought up in our midst. For some years after finishing her education, deceased was employed by Messrs Stewart Bros., and was well liked by all with whom she came in cotitict. Mrs Olive was married just two years anii four months ago, when she went with Mr Olive to Dargavilie where she resided in good health up to a few weeks ago, Her illness was short and the laal few days were felt very much by her pareuts and relations, and od Tuesday, 19th inst, the sad news of her death wa3 received with deep legret throughout the district, The cortage was brought to Helensvill6 from Dargaville on "Wednesday, and the funeral, which took place on Thursday, w ras largely attended the many wreaths showing the high esteem in which the deceased was held. To Mr and Mrs Lambert, Mr OliVo, and relations we extend our warmest sympathy.
