The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited report as follows: —' At the Henderson yards on Monday there was a small yarding of stock, which sold at fully late rates. Dairy cows and heifers sold at £1 to £6 17s 6.1; empty heifers, £2 19s; cows, £2 )5s to £3 15s ; yearling steers, £2 2s to £2 17s: bull, £3 2s Gd. At Pukekohe Yards on Monday we held a special horse sale, when more than the advertised number came forward and the majority changed hands at late rates. Heavy draught horsos sold at from £20 to £32 10s; medium draught, £1S to £27 ; aged and inferior draught, L 8 to Ll2 10s ; light harness horses Li 2 to L 23 ; hack?. LlO to L 22 ; cobs L 8 to Ll3 ; ponies, L 3 10s to Ll7 , weeds, los upwards; cart, pony and harness, Ll6 ; buggy, LB. At Westfield Yaids on Wednesday fat cattle were yarded in full numbers and the market showed a firmer tone. Best oxon sold to 27s per 1001b, others 24s to 265; cows and heifers, 20s to 235. Steers sold at from L72s 6d to Lll 7s Gd. No heavy weight yarded. Cows and heifers. L 4 10s 1o L 9 2s Gd. Veal pens were well lilled and sold at lower values. Best vealers sold at from L 3 2s to L 3 ios. other*, 20s to 38s; smaller sorts and fresh dropped, 4s to 18s. Sheep were yarded iv good numbers and prices were firmer. Best wctheva sold to 19s 9d, othora 13s 6d to 18s 9d ; ewes, heavy weights 14s to 15s 9d ; others lls to 13s 9d. Spring lambs in full supply, and advanced in price from 2s to 3s per he;id. Best lambs sold at from 14s Gd to 18s 9d, others 10s Gd to 14s 3d. Pigs were yarded in usual numbers, and again sold nt high rutes. Bnconers, L 2 10s to L 3 Isjpprkers, Lt 10s; slips, 20s to 2cs.
