Bazaar and Sale of Work.

We draw attention, to the Bazaar in aid of the Qhuroh'of England, to be held on Saturday next, notice of which appears in our advertising columns. It will be opened (D.V.) at 12 noon, and will be closed at 11 p.m. There will be the following stalls : — Fancy work, Plain needlework, Flowers, Drinks and ices, Sweets, Provisions, and a King's Messenger stall. In the refreshment room, luncheons, teas, suppers, and strawberries and cream will be provided at moderate charges. There will be a Christmas Tree and a Bran, Tub for the youngfolk, compete tions all kinds of fun for young and old ; while the shooting gallery is sure to attract all thdso young men who, in these piping times of peace, are yet not unmindful of the noble arts of war. Think well, young man, how you may at this same shooting gallery win for yourself undying happiness, when (hitting the Bull's eye time and again) you shall strike admiring glances from the bright^ eyes, and gain soft words of mattered praise from the rosy Iip S o f that fair and blushing maiden whom you hope one day to clasp to your manly bosom. And you maiden, think how you will then need but to whisper in his ear "An ice, dearest" and he will at once lead you to the Drink Stall where, all hot with excitement you shall cool your fevered pulse with sparkling beverages and vanilla ice creams. Or should you be seized with sudden chilliness there is the Refreshment room where steaming cups of fragrant tea await you, to cheer but not to inebriate.

And what shall we say of the beautiful cushions and garments for sale-the bouquets of flowers -the delicious lollies-the handsome sheep—the sweet music of the phonograph ?—words fail us ! We can say no more, and can only advise all our readers f rom far and near to come andsee and buy
