HELENSVILLE PRIVATE HOSPITAL.

The above institution since its inception has undoubtedly b^en a boom to Helensvillo and district. In April of 1909 the hospital was refitted with all the most up-to-date appliances, again this year (1911) it has been enlarged and the now part of tho building has been furnished to suit the advanced requirements of the district. There are now 10 rooms for patients including two largo wards', single wards, one with fireplace, two bitting rooms, bathrooms and all conveniences appertaining to such p.n institution. The furnishing iv white enamel is on a very elaborate scale, the comfort, of fhe patients bring one of the ' chief features, while tho departments for female and male patients are entirely separated. The Hospital is under the control of Dv Meinhol'J, M.D.. who has become so woll known throughout the district as a capable anil energetic medical practitioner, and is in chaige of Nurse Harper, certificated:—Glasgow Western Infirmary and Central Mid wives Board of London, who has had considerable experience both in England, South Africa and the Colonies, with the assistance of two probationers and tlie ordinary iinces~ sary .stair.. Tho building, is nicely situated iv one of the best positions in Helonsville, being- about 10) feet above sea-level, and commanding a splendid view of iho Kaipara Harbour, tho Dairy Flats and surrounding coun try. The Hclensville Hot Springs noted for their curative properties arc about two miles distant from the Hospital and are connected by means of a coach which runs twice daily, allowing of patients taking advantage of the baths.
