HELENSVILLE A, and P. ASSOCIATION.

A meeting of the committee of the above was held on Saturday evening. Mr Nicholls occupied' the chair and their was a fair attendance.

It was resolved- the following stewards be appointed to take tests of milk of cows entered in the " Class for the best cow to be judged- by milk test: — Messrs. J, A. Wilson (Helensville) J. C, Eimmer (TePua), Jas. McLeod (Parkhurst) E, Nicholls (Parakai) J. P. Kelly (Woodhill) and P. Dye (Kaukapakapa),. Entries for this class close on "Saturday, November ] Sth. The Stewards will visit the farms en Monday, November 20th see the cows milked dry, and will call again on Tuesday morning and weigh the milk and take samples for' testing.

Two.new members were elected: Mr Gr. Nicholls (Auckland), and Capt. Ross.

Mr A. J. Hill was : aj>pointec] a member of the executive committee.

It was decided to hold a meeting at Kaukapakapa, at a date to be fixed by the chairman and secretary, for the purpose Oi raising more interest in the Show in that district. Several members of the committee wil] attend.

A prize of £2 2s for the best cross bred 2 year-old heifer for dairy purposes was received from the Kaipara Co-op. Dairy Factory Company Co.
