REGATTA MEETING.
The Regatta Committee met at Smith's Hotel on Friday evening last after an interview with Mr Bowles, District Traffic Manager of Railways Mr J. McLeod, occupied the chair. The minutes of, previous meeting were read and confirmed.
Correspondence read
It was proposod that the Secretary write to Mr Bowles, Traffic Manager of Railways, re amended time-table for Regatta Day, Carried.
It was proposed that a membership list be started for this year, annual subscription to be 10s, payable in ad- ■■> vance, and that all members receive two complimentary tickets ; all those having so subscribed up to the present to be included. Carried. '
The Secretary was iostructed to collect advertisements for programmes, and to get quotations for printing of. progi amme posters. Misses Little and Donovan's offer '•' fot music for tho dance was accepted. It was proposed that Mr Stringer be appointed auditor to theEegatta Committee. Carried.
The Secretary was instructed to convene next meeting when necessary.
