Edwin Platt, an eld and respected resident of Kaukapakapa, who had been ailing for a few days went to the--Costly Home on Friday 18th and die there the same evening at 8 o'clock. The deceased was an army Veteran' and served in the,lndian Muting. Cause of death is reported to be cancer in the stomach.
