At the Westfield Yards on Thursday last we held our usual weekly sale of dairy and store cattle. There was a large yarding and prices were the same as late quotations. Best dairy cows and heifers close to profit sold at from L7 to L9 55,. others L4 lOsto L6 15s; heifers, L4 to L8 17s 6d ; empty cows, L2 15s to L3 17s; 18- month heifers, L3 ls to L3 12 6d ; yearlings, to L2 10s. At the Albert Yards on Friday - horses were yarded in more numbers than usual and competiton was keen j throughout. Heavy draught- horses, . sold at from L33 to L4B ; medium draughts, LlB 10s to L3O ; light harness horses, and hacks LlO to L25; ponies and weeds, L2 to L7 10s ; gig, LB. A cart and harness realised L2O. At Waiuku Yaids on Saturday we held our monthly sale. There was an average yarding, which consisted mostly of daiiy cows and heifers, and prices were the same, as late quotations. Best cows close to profit sold at from L8 10s to Lll 10s, othors more backward Lo 10s to L7 10 ; aged and inferior sorts, L2 to L3 5s ; empty cows and heifers, L2 12s to Ll; 18-month-old heifers, to L3 12s 6d ; yearlings to L2 15s ; calves, 15s to Ll 17. Pigs : Weaners, 9s 6d to 13s 6d, A large quality of sundfies sold at satisfactory prices. At Henderson Yards on Monday we held our usual saK There was a largo yarding of stock of all description?, which sold at Inte rates. At Onewhero on Tuesday wo held a clearing snl6 of Mr W. Linstruin's live and dead stock. Tbero wa3 a good attendance and satisfactory prices were realised. Two and n half to three-year-old steers sold to L5 14s ; 18 month steers, L3 los ; heifers, L2 los-; ewes in lamb, 16s to 16s 3d ; hoggets, 13s 6dto 14s ; rams, Hs to Ll 15s'; horses, to Ll7 ; dairy cows, L4 7s 6d to L5 12s 6d; calves, r Ll 10s to L2 14s.
