Tonking's £100 Gift.
The donation of £100 pvo-joised by the Proprietors of Tonking's Linseed Emulsion to any institution or charity selected by the public, will be made towards the cost of providing books for the Levin Public Library. The voting throughout has caused even the enume-ators considerable excitement. The.£loo looked like going first to ono town, then to another, and it would appear as though the public were aware of every fluctuation, for n'' sooner did one inst:cution load than another came to tho front. However, towards the finish the Levin Free Library was seen to be the winner and wo congratulate the iownsppople of Levin on their good fortune,
