The Auckland Farmers Union held their monthly stock sale yesterday. Tlmre was a big yarding of springers, ani a fair yarding of store stock. Springers were in slack demand at £l per head lower than last sale, while young cattle and store cows sold at improved rates. Good sound dairy cows and heifers sold at from .•£5 to £7 ; backward and low condition sorts £o !0s to £-1 15s ; fat cows £5 5s to £6 ; store cows £2 19s to £3 10s 9 month steers £2 os to £2 10s ; smaller sorts £1 to £l 16s. Sheep— Mixed hoggets 9s 7d,
