At Clevedon on Thursday, in conjunction witii Messrs. A. Auckland and sons, we held a clearing sale of Mr 1). O'Connor's live and dead stouk. There was a large attendance and hisrh prices were realised. The Ilolstein cows sold,at from L 7 to L2S; Bolstein heifers, to LlB ; Shorthorn c^\v=, close to profit, L 8 10s to Ll 5 : others, more backward, Lo to L 9 ; heifer*, L 4 10 to L 8 ; Rolstein year, ling heifers, L 2 17s Od to L. r> 10s; bulls, L 8 to L9;hull calves, L 2 10s to L 3 os; draught horses', L 23 to L 33; light cart horses, Llo 10s to L 22 ; pigs, Ll to L."3 2s G ; weaners, 7s to lls each. A large quantity of sundries and furniture sold at satisfactory pnees. At the Albert Yards on Friday j horses came forward in average numbers and sold under good competition. At Papakura Yards on Monday we held a clearance sale of Messrs. J.A.. S. Slack's and J. P. Sinclair's (of Papakuia) dairy cows find sundries. There Avas a good attendance and satisfactory prices were obtained. Best dairy cows close to profit sold at from 1,8 10s to Llo, others L 3 10s to L 7 ; heifers,Lo to L 7 10s ; aged and backward sorts, L 2 10s to Lo los hoises, to LlO ; bulls.
