A meeting o£ the Library committee was held, on Thursday eveuing ldbt when there were present; Messrs A. J, llill ■(chairman), (J. H. JSpiuley (secretary)!),.Donovan, 13. Barman and Pago 'Ike secretary r read the minutes of tho previous mooting which were confirmed. The Gazette notifyiny the title to , the Library site had been grunted, and the certificate of title were laid on the table. It was resolved, th*1: subscription lists for new building be opened, and tliat the meniberis or! the committee canvas the district.
Tho secretary wa3 instructed to write the Waitetnata County Council re Coronation Grant.
The Chairman and Secretary were appointed a deputation to wait on the Helensviile Town Board re Libraiy matters.
It was resolved that the key of the Library be kept, at Mr Bernian's store, and that Mr merman be ■empowered to received subscriptions. Vote of thanks to tho chairman terminated the meeting.
