FOOTBALL.

A match between Helensville and Woodhill was played at Wbarepapa on Saturday last, and resulted in a win forHelensville by 30 points to S. Tries for the local Club wero received by V. McLeod (4), C McLeod (3), three bring converted one each by C. and V. McLeod and one, by H. Hart ; E. Osborne secured the only try for WoodhiU, which was not converted. Mr. Lewis Little made a very efficient referee. After the match the teams adjourned to Mr. ■J. Kelly's barn where refreshments xy.n-e partaken of, and a very pleasant time was spect prior to the visitors leaving for home by the late train.
