On Friday next Helensvillo is to be favoured with a visit by Miss Andersoa Hughes the well-known and remarkably successful temperance orator. Miss Hughes is an Auckland lady, but she has travelled extensively. She has just returned from a two and a, half years tour in the Old Country. -Her missions have been successful everywhere. As a proof of this it is but necessary to mention that Miss Hughes was specially commißsioned by th* United Kingdom Alliance to go to Ireland and start the Womens .branch of the Catch my Pal move* ment.

Mr E. J. F. King, the Kaipara NoLicense League organiser, and the popular Australian No-license expert, will also address the meeting. Arrangements have been made for a Womens meeting at 3 p.m. Mrs Oxley will preside, and afternoon tea will be provided. In the evening Mrj Jas* Stewart occupies the Chair. -^
