All pedestrian competitors must appear in suitable clothing—long drawers and trunks. In wrestling, in Devon, Cornish, or Cumberland style, no boots or slippers, or covering of any kind upon the feet will be allowed, woollen stockings excepted. In Collar and Elbow style, light shoes (approved of by Committee) may be worn. Competitors will be matched according to weight.
