EUCALYPTI (Deutsche Med Wochenschrift 1879), Moslor, M.D. Professor at the University, Griefswald, Germany, reports: — The Eucalypti Extract proved magnifi cently successful in very severe contu-; sions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scald- ' injr.t, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, in flarumation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, ifcc., are not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, ifec, London, the loading surgeon of the present time, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaillard's Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antisep tic (means of preventing putrefaction). SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTJ EXTRACT. (American Medical Jonrnal, Novem bcr, 18S1). —In diseases of the kidney either active congestion or suppression (uraemia) all allmminuria, dropsy, lithia sis, nothing will equal in its action Eucalypti Extract. Doses, five to eight drops in a little sweetened water twice or three times daily SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From American Medical Journal Jan., 1882).—Pitzer, M.D., Professor Theory and Practice of Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt is the best remedy known in typhoma larial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph theria, scarlet fever, small-pox, &c. ; it effectually retards the disintegration of the animal fluids, which might result in a general breaking-up of the blood and in death. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From St. Loais Electric Medical Journal, Dec, 1881).—Cancer of the Tongue—Patient, Mrs W , 35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous dia thesis. Prescribed four drops to he taken three times daily ; also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured. (J. H. Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract. Eight days after operation Professors Bauer and M'lntyre noted the following con dition :—No swelling, heat or discolora tioti, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the patient allowed to attend to her household duties a«ain. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPT] EXTRACT. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880).—Tin American medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 or 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily. Eight drops given inwardly once daily, prevents effectually contaminatiou of the blood in foul disease, CAUTION. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (St. Louis Clinical Record, Jan 1882).—Hazard, M.D. Prof, of Patho logy and Diseases of the Miud, states: We have examined half a dozen specimens of Eucalypti Extract. .Sander's preparation was the only one which corresponds to scientific tests.
