TO THE BURGESSES OP KUMARA. Ladies and Gentlemen.— At rhe request of a number of ratepayers, I am again a candidate for the position of Mayor, and hope that my services in the past have been sufficiently good to again deserve your support at the forthcoming election. As unforseen circumstances will necessitate my absence from Kuraara on the day of election, and I will therefore be unable to solicit your support by a personal canvass, I take this opportunity of soliciting your vote and interest. Should you again place me in that honourable position, I shall continue to advance your interests to the best of my ability. I remain, Ladies and Gentlemen, Your obedient servant, HENRY BURGER.
