ANOTHER SENSATIONAL DIVORCE CASE.

LORD COLIN CAMPBELL AND HIS WIFE. When the Courts meet again, society will have a fresh sensation in a great divorce case. It will bo remembered that some time ago Lady Colin Campbell petitioned for separation from her husband, the case being held in camera. Now Lord Colin Campbell has laid a petition for divorce, alleging adultery against his wife. There are no less than three co-respondents, each well known to fame. The Duke of Marlborough is first co-respondent. The second is Colonel Butler, husband of Miss Thompson, painter of “The Roll Call.” The third is Captain Shaw, chief of the Metropolitan Fire Brigade. Briefs have been delivered, and an enormous amount of evidence has been accumulated. On the part of the defendant and co-respondents the charge is indignantly denied, and the war is likely to be carried into the enemy’s country. Evidence will be given alleging that since the former legal proceedings Lord Colin Campbell has pursued his wife with a series of persecutions almost sufficient to drive a woman to desperation. Lady Colin Campbell was well known in society as Miss Gertrude Blood. She is a very handsome woman, of lively manners, and with considerable gift?.
