All pedestrian competitors must appear in suitable clothing—long drawers and trunks. In wrestling, in Devon, Cornish, or Cumberland style, no boots or slippers, or covering of any kind upon the feet will jo allowed, woollen stockings excepted. In Collar and Elbow style, light shoes (approved of by Committee) may be worn. Competitors will be matched according to weight. The decisions of the Committee or whoever they may appoint shall in all cases of dispute be final, and all law proceedings barred. The time for receiving entries and acceptances will be strictly adhered to. In the event of the weather proving unfavourable, the Committee shall have it in their power to postpone the sports from dav to day.
