Letters received from Full, James, and party, who left Suuthbridge to piospect Big Bay, state that no gold worth speaking of has been found. They like the country very well, and intend prospecting further inland. Napier, November 13.

An uuprecedented frost visited the districts Mouth of Napier yesterday morning and dentroyed all the potato crops, beans, vines, and flowering shrubs ; even docks were killed. The mischief is done through a fiercely hot mot ning succeeding the frost.

Burrell, G. Deichanlt, J. B. Guest, Robert Rose, G. Spencer, G. Romnpy, and 16 steerage. Among the through passengers for Sydney are, the Hon. L. L. Smith, Thos. Connor (champion wrestler), F. Wood (champion bicyclist), and A. Ginton (champion skater of the world). The Alameda sailed for Sydey at two o'clock this afternoon. The Rotorua for the south, with San Francisco mails, sailed at 10 o'clock this forenoon.
