ANDER & SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Deutsche; Med Wbchenschrift 1879), hosier. M.D. Professor at- the University, Griefswald, Germany, reports: — The Eucalypti Extract proved magnifi ceptly successful in very severe contusions, bruises, sprains, ■wounds, scalding*, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, in flanimation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, (fee., are not to le equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, &c., London, the leading surgeon of the present lime, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaik lard’s Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antisep tic (means of preventing putrefaction), SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (American Medical Journal, No vein her, 1881). —In diseases of the kidney either active congestion or suppression (tinemia) all albuminuria, dropsy, lithia sis, nothing will equal in its action Eucalypti Extract. Doses, five to eight drops in a little sweetened water twice or three times daily SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From American Medical Journal Jan., 1882). —Pitzer, M.D., Professoi Theory and* Practice of Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt is the best remedy known in typhoma larial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph theria, scarlet fever, small-pox, &c.; it effectually retards the disintegration - , of the animal fluids, which might result; in a general breaking-up of the blood, and in death. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From the Clinical Record, of August,, 1881) —Surgical Clinic of Professor’ MM.ntyre, College of Physicians and. Surgeons, St. Louis Scirrhus of: Breast—Excision : Eucalypti Extract employed as spray, and dressing. Eight days after operation Professors Bauer and MHntyre noted the following con ■ dition :—No swelling, heat or discolora tion, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the patient allowed to attend to her household duties again. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880).—The American medical profession uses, in. gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 or 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily. Eight drops given inwardly once daily, prevents effectually contamination of the blood in foul disease, CAUTION. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (St. Louis Clinical Record, Jan 1882) Hazard, M.D. Prof, of Patho logy and Diseases of the Mind, states: We have examined half a dozen specimens of Eucalypti Extract. Sander’s preparation was the only one which corresponds to scientific tests. Onr preparation is the existing volatile extract, free of «"u resinous par tides. All other preparations of the Eucalyptus, no matter where manufac tured. are crude, resinous oils, irritatin* and blistering, rather causing inflam, rnation than staying it, and of readangcr if erronously applied in throat diseases, &c. No bottles genuine except those with labels bearing our signature and trad mark, and secured outside with pink wrapper and green band, the latter bearing our locution and signature.
