lANDER & SONS' EUCALYPTI J EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Woohensohrift 1879), Mosler, M.D. Professor at the University, Griefswald, Germany, reports:— The Eucalypti Extract proved magnifi' cently successful in veiy severe contui sions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scaldings, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, in fliimmation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, &c, are not to be equalled by any othei medicament. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, &c, London, the leading surgeon of the present lime, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaillard's Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antisep tic (means of preventing putrefaction). SANDER AND SONS' EUCAL3TPTJ EXTRACT. (American Medical Jonrnal, Novem ber, 1881). —In diseases of the kidney either active congestion or suppression (uraemia) all albuminuria, dropsy, lithia eis, nothing will equal in its action Eucalypti Extract. Doses, five to eight drops in a little sweetened water twice or three times daily SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From American Medical Journal Jan., 1882).—Pitzer, M.D., Professoi Theory and Practice ©f Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt is the best remedy known in typhonia larial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph theria, scarlet fever, sinall-pox, &c; it effectually retards the disintegration of the animal fluids, which might result in a general breakiDg-up of the blood and in death. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From St. Louis Electric Medical Journal, Dec, 1881).—Cancer of the Tongue—Patient, Mrs W , 35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous dia thesis. Prescribed four drops to be taken three times daily; also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured. (J. H. Ruttley, M.D., Prof., &c, Philadelphia).—Since, in the case of Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From the Clinical Record, of August, 1881).—Surgical Clinic of Professor M'lntyre, College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Louis Scirrhns of Breast—Excision: Eucalypti Extract employed as spray, and dressing. Eight days after operation Professors Bauer and M'lntyre noted the following con. dition :—No swelling, heat or discolora tion, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the patient allowed to attend to her household duties again. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880). Th* American medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 or 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily. Eight drops given inwardly once daily, prevents effectually contamination of the blood in-foul disease. CAUTION. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (St. Louis Clinical Record, Jan 1882).—Hazard, M.D. Prof, of Patho logy and Diseases of the Mind, states We have examined half a doze.n spr-ci-nii-iis of Eucalypti Extract. All other preparations of the Eucalyptus, no matter where manufnc tured, are crude, resinous oils, irritatin and blistering, rather causing inflam. raation than staying it, and of readanger if erronously applied in throat diseases, &c.
