(Received October 12, 10.15 p.m.) Sydney, October 12. Penn and Lizzie Graham were again brought up at the Police Court at Kempsey today, and both prisoneis were remanded to Sydney. (Received October 13, 1.30 a.m.) Later. The Jubilee Municipal gathering which took place to-night was a brilliant success. Five hundred guests were present at the Mayor’s reception, when the Mayor of Sydney delivered an address of welcome to the visitors. The mayors of the principal cities of all the colonies, with the exception of Western Australia, were present, and responded to the address. In the Assembly to-night, the debate on Sir Henry Parkes’ vote of censure motion is still proceeding. (Received October 13, 1,12 p.m.) October 13. The debate on the vote of censure on the Government, proposed by Sir Henry Parkes, has been adjourned until tonight. The guests for the Municipal Jubilee were taken on a trip round the harbour to-day. It has transpired that Penn and Lizzie Graham were living in a tent on shore for five weeks after the wreck of the Sovereign of the Seas. (Received October 13, 12.30 p.m.) Adelaide, October 12. The Legislative Council has rejected the bill providing for the payment of members, which was recently passed by the House of Assembly.
