The conference for the discussion of matters relating to live stock was concluded to-day. During the discussion on the Divorce Bill in the Legislative Assembly yester-
day morning, another scene occurred in the anteroom, where Lysaght struck Gibbes. Further blows were prevented by the members present. (Received October 11, 1 p.m.) October 11. In the Legislative Assembly on Saturday afternoon the Divorce Extension Bill was shelved, owing to the want of a quorum. (Received October 9, 12.30 p.m.) Melbourne, October 9. The proposal to conclude a Reciprocity Treaty between Fiji and Victoria has been onder consideration by the Cabinet, and is favourably viewed. Farther communications with Fiji are, however, deemed necessary before coming to a final decision on the subject. October 10. The steamship Massllia arrived here last night.
