The amount of gold obtained was valued at £1246 8s; so that there had been a loss of £3313 8s 6d, or a loss per man during the four years of £552 4s 9d.—William Ames, by his agent Mr Seddon, objected to the application, on the ground that it wonld prevent him from being able to open out his special claim. Adjourned to next Court day for survey of special claim.
