?JANDER & SONS’ EUCALYPTI J EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wochenschrift 1879), •M osier, M.D. Professor at the Univery Griefswaltl, Germany, reports; — 1 he Eucalypti Extract proved magnifij cently successful in very severe contujj sions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scaldiugs, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, m (lamination of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, itc , arc not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professorate., London, the leading surgeon of the present lime, slated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaillard’s Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antisep tic (means of preventing putrefaction). SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (American Medical Journal, Novem ber, 1881). —In diseases of the kidney either active congestion or suppression (uraemia) all albuminuria, dropsy, lithia sis, nothing will equal in its action Eucalypti Extract. Doses, five to eight drops in a little, sweetened water twice or three times daily SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From American Medical Journal Jan., 1&82). —Pitzer, M.D., Professoi 1 heory and Practice of Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt ia the best remedy known in typhoma larial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph theria, scarlet fever, small-pox, «fec.; it ('(Fectuallv retards the disintegration oi the animal fluids, which might result in a general hreaking-np of the blood and in death. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (hrom St. Louis Electric Medical Journal, Dec., 1881). —Cancer of the Tongue—Patient, Mrs W , 35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous dia thesis. Prescribed four drops to be taken three times daily ; also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured. (J. H. Ruttloy, M.D., Prof., &c., Philadelphia).—Since, in the case of Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From the Clinical Record, of August, 1881) Surgical Clinic of Professor M‘l ll tyre, College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Louis Scirrhus of Breast—Excision : Eucalypti Extract employed as spray, and dressing. Eight •lays after operation Professors Bauer and MMntyre noted the, following con. dition : —No swelling, heat or discolors turn, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the patient allowed to attend to her household duties again. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880).—The American medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 or 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily. Eight drops given inwardly once daily, prevents effectually contamination of the blood in foul disease. CAUTION. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (St. Louis Clinical Record, Jan* 1882) Hazard, M.D. Prof, of PathoJ I"L!V and Diseases of the Mind, states: We have examined half a dozen spocimens of Eucalypti Extract. Sander’s preparation was the only one which corresponds to scientific tests. Our preparation is the onß- existin'-, vnlati.e extract, free cf ,m resinous par. tides. All other preparations of the Eucalyptus, no maßer where mauufacuu.c. .a.-, c-y ivis.uo.is oils, irritating . .hsiti’ing, rather causing inflammation than staying it, and of reac;anger if erronously applied in throat ciseases, &c.
