Owen M'Nally, a miner, who was received into the Hospital yesterday week, suffering from a cancer of the eye, of five years' standing, was successfully operated upon on the following morning by Dr. M'Brearty, the Hospital Surgeon. The patient, who is 46 years of age, has steadily improved in health since the operation was performed ; and whereas the diseased eye had begun so to affect the healthy eye that he could scarce see with either, under the skilful treatment of Dr. M'Brearty the vision is being restored. M'Nally underwent an operation for this cancer some two years ago, but the treatment was not thoroughly effectual, and hence his present unfortunate position. Our new doctor has had some very delicate cases to deal with since he has been here, and he has proved himself both expert and successful, as well as most attentive. efforts to save my leg, but without success. He then found it necessary to amputate my limb. Having heard in the meantime of the wonderful cures worked by the Eucalypti Extract, I obtained a bottle, and the extract had not been applied more than an hour when I began to feel greatly relieved. After applying the extract every four hours for nine or ten days I was out of all danger. I would persuade all who may be affected with any such disease to give the Eucalypti Extract a trial, and I am convinced that they will find it the most wonderful of medicines.-—Yours, &c, E. J.
