Friday, September 3. [Before J. Giles, Esq., Warden.] APPLICATIONS. Gilbert Roberts and party, by their agent Mr Hannan, applied to construct a tail-race for mining purposes at Larrikins.—Postponed to next Court day, to obtain consent of the Trustees of No. 2 channel. Michael Murray and party, by their agent Mr Hannan, applied to construct a tail-race at Patrick’s Terrace, west of Tait and party’s tail-race.—Granted ; certificate 12003 cancelled. Catherine Ireland, by her agent Mr Hannan, applied for a residence area fronting the new road at Larrikins.— Granted, on the usual conditions. Peter Grant and others, by their agent Mr Hannan, applied for three months’ protection to their extended claim, till the carrying capacity of the No, 2 sludge-channel be proved, before constructing their tail-race.—Granted for 14 days, and form to be filled up properly. John Gartleman and party, by their agent Mr Hannan, made application to reduce their extended claim, held under certificate 38768.—Granted. Henry Richards, for seif and party, applied for 14 days’ protection to claim at Larrikins, being occupied in constructing a tail-race.—Granted. George Rich and parly applied for 14 days’ protection, one of the partners being in the Greymouth Hospital.— Granted.
