THE NO. 2 SLUDGE-CHANNEL REGULATIONS.

Lu;<:ri,.VTiO-Ns for tlie Control and Management of the Main Tail-Race, commonly called the " Kuniara SludgeChannel No. 2," and Registered as Main Tail-raco No. 4G270, dated Bth January Itfou ; and TV.kms and Cosi-moNs for the Use of the said Main Tail-race, by Persons other than other the Holders, as provided by section 2D of Part 111. of Appendix D to the Mines Act, 1877, vir,.— 1. From the number of registered holder:; (hereinafter called the Trustees) of the Main Tail-race (hereinafter called rh:' Channel) .shall be elected, in manner herehuTter provided, a Committee (herein.-, i'ler called the Committee), consisting v'i. iive persons, including a chairman, secretary, and treasurer ; but the offices of secretary and treasurer may be held by the same; person. 2. There ahall be an annual meeting, at which the following persons shall be entitled to be present, viz., the trustees and any other persons who shall have obtained a right to lease of the channel. At each such annual meeting, a fresli committee and officers shall be elected from amongst the trustees, the same persons being eligible for re-election; and the accounts and balance-sheet of the treasurer shall be submitted to the meeting, and all other necessary business transacted. All casual vacancies in the Committee shall bo filled up by the Trustees. :'..
