Friday, August 20. [Before J. Giles, Esq., Warden.] APPLICATIONS. The application of Henry Richards and party, by their agent Mr Hannan, to construct a tail-race to connect with No. 2 sludge-channel, objected to by Macgregor, who appeared as one of Alex. Reid and party, objectors, was granted, by consent of same, on condition that the tunnel, where it crosses objectors' tunnel, be properly secured and close-boxed for ten feet on either side ; certificate to issue on completion of trust deed, <fec, foi No. 2 channel. John Wildridge and party, by their agent Mr Hannan, applied for a doublearea clnim at-. ?nc'rt.dir.'? double-area No. 37066, cancelled by K. J. Smith and others.—Received. J. Sellars ami party's extended claim.— Granted, subject to the condition that Sellars and part}' be allowed to further deviate, or extend the deviation to the upper boundaiy of their claim whenever they require to work the ground that the flaming stands upon. Peter Grant and party, by their agent Mr Hannan, applied for seven days' protection to their extended claim No 43850, at Larrikins, till the canying capacity of No. 2 sludge-chanuel be proved, before they construct a tailrace.—Granted.
