SANDER & SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Deutsche) Med Wochenschiift 1879), Moslor, M.D. Professor at the University, Griefswahl, Germany, reports: — •The Eucalypti Extract proved magniti cently successful in very severe contusions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scalding*, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, m flammation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, &c, arc not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, «fcc., London, the leading surgeon of the present time, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaillard's Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antisep tic (means of preventing putrefaction). SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (American Medical Jonrnal, Novem her, 1881). —In diseases of the kidney either active congestion or suppression (urremia) all albuminuria, dropsy, lithia sis, nothing will equal in its action Eucalypti Extract. Doses, five to eight drops in a little sweetened water twice or three times daily SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From American Medical Journal Jan., 1882).—Pitzer, M.D., Professoi Theory and Practice of Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt ia the best remedy known in typhoma larial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph theria, scarlet fever, small-pox, &c; it effectually retards the disintegration of the animal fluids, which might result in a general breaking-up of the blood and in death. Prescribed four drops to If taken three times daily ; also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured. (J. 11. Ruttley, M.D., Prof., &c, Philadelphia).—Since, in the case of Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have aUaincd through the application of the Eucalypti Extract. Eight days after operation Professors Bauer and M-Intyrc noted the following condition -.—No swelling, heat or discolora tion, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the patient allowed to alicnd to her household duties a<*ain. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT.
