SEIZURE OF TWO AMERICAN FISHING VESSELS. REMOVAL OF THE DUC D'AUMALE FROM FRENCH ARMY. (Received July 5, 12.30 p.m.) London, July 4. The latest election returns show 148 Conservatives, 26 Unionists, 54 Gladstonites, aud 17 Parnellites. The following are reelected :—Robt. Bourke (Conservative), for King's Lynn; L. L. Cohen (Conservative), for Paddington, North Division; Peter Rylands (Liberal), for Burnley; Thomas Roe and Sir William Vernon-Har-conrt (Liberals), for Derby; Jno. J. Clancey and Sir Thomas Esmonde (Nationalists), for Dublin. Seats for the following places, held last Parliament by Liberals, have been secured by Conservatives :—South Bristol, West Salford, South Salford, East Birmingham, and South Nottingham. The supporters of Mr Gladstone have defeated Conservatives for Liverpool, Exchange Division ; W. L. Bright is elected for Manchester, South- West Division, in place of Lord Frederick Hamilton (Conservative) ; C. E. Schwann (Liberal), carried the Conservative seat for the North Division of Manchester. Broadhurst (Liberal), is elected for Nottingham, West Division; Daveny is defeated for Stockport; Sir Thomas Brasßey (Liberal) for Liverpool seat, and (Liberal) for Oldham. The feature of the elections throunh the country is the increased voting on both sides. (Received July 5, 1.15 p.m.) Later. that in December last Mr Gladstone offered to cooperate with the Conservative party in dealing with the Irish difficulty. Mr Gladstone, it is stated, made the offer on the ground that he had received information that a power behind Paruell threatened to perpetuate outrages in England. (Received July 5, 12.30 p.m.) Brindisi, July 3. An alarming increase of cholera is reported in this city and throughout the province. (Received July 6, 1.15 p.m.) New York, July 5. Information is received in this city that two American vessela are seized off the Nova Scotian Coast. Paris, July 5. The Due de Aumale has been removed from the French Army list by order of the Government.
