NATIVE LANDS ACr ADMINISTRATION BILL. PASSING OF EAST WEST COAST RAILWAY BILL. [from our own correspondent.] Wellington, Julp 2. The Legislative Council made small work of Captain Sutter's road poisoning Small Birds Nuisance Bill, it being repercussed by 26 votes to 40. The time of the House was wholly occupied to-day in considering the New Plymouth Harbor Bill and the Dog Registration Bill, no progress being made with either of them. July 3. The House did good work yesterday. The Native Lands Act Administration Bill was passed through Committee. The East and West Coast Railway Bill was passed. The division on 'the passing was 36 votes to 13. The result was received with tremendous cheers. It is not expected the Lords will interfere; the company have got the concession they asked, and all obstacles are removed.
